2. REDUCED MAINTENANCE COSTS
Our LED Emergency Linear lights and Oyster fittings have a 12 volt LITHIUM-ION battery pack that can be swapped out every 5 or more years, when the batteries can no longer hold charge for 90 minutes. (Fire survey tests require a 90 minute endurance from emergency lighting. Usually tested every 6 months.) Battery packs are around $60 each and can be done by a non-electrician, as they are 12 volt..
This means you no longer need an electrician to throw out the whole Emergency fluoro fitting every time the battery fails. Usual cost for a fluoro Emergency light is $250-$300. Just change the battery.

3. SUPERIOR USER EXPERIENCE
Our Motion sensor LED lights use a new generation of Microwave (radar) Sensors to activate lights in car parks or corridors – from dim to full light. The ‘dim’ light level is good enough to see everything in a space – it is not dingy. But the batten light dims to 10% or 4W. Some other dimming LED battens only dim to 40%.
Previously, one had to do “star jumps” to make PIR (Passive infrared) sensor lights work—and then cope with lights switching completely off. Dimming LED lights overcome these issues and deliver energy savings of up to 80%, especially in fire stairs where there is minimal movement.
